To qualify for the Luxe Awards your wedding had to use a minimum of three Luxe Vendors if the wedding or reception was in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area (“KCMA”). In the event your wedding was a destination or wedding located outside the KCMA you qualify with a minimum of any two Luxe Vendors. A “Luxe Vendor” is defined as one who participated in a Luxe- Kansas City’s Wedding Showcase the previous year, or is a current Luxe Vendor.
Entries may be submitted by the vendor responsible for their portion of the wedding or by the Bride or Host (rehearsal dinner, shower or reception).
You must have written approval by all required vendors for each category submitted, including photographer if using their photos. In the event a vendor submits a wedding, they must receive written approval by the Bride and Groom to use their wedding in the form of a referral letter. It must state that you met the requirements of the job and that the client was pleased with the work completed.
Weddings that qualify will be from the period September 1, 2008 to October 31, 2009. All entries must be submitted by 4:00pm, November 20, 2009 for judging to Laura’s Couture Collection, 13010 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Shawnee, KS 66216.
Entry Fee is $75 per entry, multiple entries are $40 per additional entries per bride or vendor. Multiple categories can be submitted and require a separate Entry Form and Fee. Checks made payable to Laura’s Couture Collection.
Each Entry must be submitted in duplicate in a plain ring notebook or binder. Name and wedding date clearly noted on the cover. A written summary limited to 1000 words should be included for wedding and reception categories. Photos and CD'S must be secured in sleeves not to exceed 15photos, 20 for photography. Binders and contacts will not be returned and become the property of the Luxe Awards.
All DVD’s are limited to 10 minutes in duration. All entries for best Wedding or Reception categories must include the invitation.
Members of Laura’s Brides for a Cause will review the entries and submit the top 5 in each category for judging. All decisions are at their sole discretion and decisions are final. Nominees will be notified after December 28, 2009.
